toik is a clip-on live AI translator. It's a small device you clip to your collar, shirt or bag strap. Paired with the toik app on your phone, it listens to both people in a conversation and speaks the translation, in more than 130 languages.
Why we made toik
Good conversations get lost when two people don't share a language. A site manager and his crew. A traveller and a shop owner. A grandmother meeting her grandson's girlfriend for the first time. Translator apps help, but they make you hold a phone between you, take turns and look at a screen. We wanted something you clip on and forget, so you can look at the person you're talking to.
Our idea is simple: speak without borders.
